About Me
I use visual and spoken communication to inform, educate, and help others. As the Marketing Communications Assistant for the Madison Morgan County Convention and Visitors Bureau I help people learn more about Madison and Morgan County through photography, videography, social media, website management, and advertisements.
For past experience, I found my passion for video editing during my time as an Assistant Production Supervisor at Viking Fusion Studios, Berry College’s award-winning multi-media production studio. There, I was responsible for creating yearlong strategies to maintain our online presence; managed video shoots; and researched, produced, and edited films. Due to my work there, after graduation, I became a production assistant for Starz Family Productions where I applied my skills in team communication, managing audiences, and facilitating crisis situations. In addition, I was the Social Media Manager for My Favorite Game where I planned content for live events and administered ad campaigns.
It’s my goal to use my work to get an audience excited about a chance they might otherwise miss. To do this, I’m also currently expanding my skillset by pursuing a Master of Arts in Emerging Media at the University of Georgia. Outside of filming and classes, you can find me engrossed in a good history book or enjoying strategy and cooperation board games with friends. I love challenges that expand my thought process and encourage me to build my skills in new ways.
